This Sunday is the reception of the Perkins Center for the Arts’ 2009 Works on Paper show in Moorestown New Jersey. I have a piece entitled “Four Months in a Coffee Shop, Horizontal” that is to be on display.  The reception starts at one PM, and goes until four.

More Info

More art soon, just a bit more art news this week. The 2009 day to day planner I am featured in is available for order. It is a beautiful book. Check it out here.

A Few Things

October 5th through October 31st I have a piece in the Markeim Art Center in Haddonfield’s annual juried show. The reception is October 10th, 6-9 pm.

On Saturday October 11th I will be participating in Collingswood, NJ’s monthly Second Saturday celebration of the arts. I will be set up in In the Knick of Time from 7-9 pm. I am the featured visual artist in thier Knick at Knight weekend event. Some of my pieces will stay on sale at the shop for the duration of the holiday season.

Stop by at one of these wonderful venues sometime this month.

Business Time

The hardest part about being as artist is promotion. Creating art is easy. Getting people to look at it is another story. I finally got around to making business cards, which is something that should have happened a long time ago.

I’ve been leaving them everywhere and giving them to everyone. There’s no way of knowing if they’re succeeding. If you found this site due to business card, please leave a comment.

There are five hundred. I am hand drawing an individual piece of art on every one.

It is turning out to be quite the endeavor.

Featured Artist

My Etsy shop was featured today on Go Go Kioko!’s blog. Please take a look:

I’m very excited and honored.

Not a Painting

My current studio space is in my Uncle’s attic. He’s the absolute greatest for letting me use it.

There are some soon the be painted over pieces in the bottom picture.

Call for visual artists.

This is almost the complete page I’ll be submitting for the 2009 Diary Project. The book will feature over 365 artists. I think she still needs a few pages done before July 1st. Check it out here:

I think the fun part will be seeing how many, if any, more hits I get on the upcoming

date of January 17th.
