The most productive day of drawing was in Epcot. I tried to get a good sketch from each country featured in Epcot’s World Showcase. Here are the last of the pages I’m posting from my recent Florida vacation.
Epcot World Showcase:

Morocco:

Japan:

Italy:

This is my favorite drawing in the book. China:

Norway:

My Grandmother’s hands and bags on the ride home:

I realize these last three entries are more personal then I tend to get in my blog, but I’m very proud of my souvenier book. Thank you for taking a glance.

This past winter my family and I spent a week in Florida. Instead of taking photographs, I purchased one of the autograph books popular in the Disney theme parks. I filled it with drawings instead of character signatures.

I’m going to devote a few days worth of blog posts to this tiny book. Here are some select drawings.
Standing in line:

Expedition Everest, a roller coaster in Disney’s Animal Kingdom:

Lunchtime:

Females in a crowd, waiting for show to start:

Another line:

Safari animal gestures:

Bus rides:

Pirate Restaurant:

It’s a Small World:

Tomorrow Land:

More sketches in tomorrow’s post.

There is a beautiful carousel in the mall with nothing but sea creatures as “horses”. If you would really like mall security to shadow you for hours, start your visit off by drawing it.

Here are some quick sketches of Cricket the dog whining about being drawn. Animals really don’t like being looked at for long periods of time, at least by me anyway.
Happy Sketchbook Saturday to all!

I sketched this while being serenaded by two strangers with acoustic guitars.

This is the first drawing in my newest sketchbook. It is beautifully handmade by Parkside Harmony. I cannot wait to fill it up.
